Aug 21: Screening of We the Living, a film based on Ayn Rand's book

A special screening of the film "We The Living" will be conducted on 21st August, Saturday at the NCUI Building in Delhi. The movie is based on Ayn Rand's novel, 'We The Living". It was made without her permission or knowledge in 1942. It was later banned by the Mussolini regime. The film is in Italian, with English subtitles.

ARI: The Fountainhead Essay Contes 2010, for high school students

The Ayn Rand Institute is hosting the 25th Annual Essay Contest on Ayn Rand's Novel "The Fountainhead". This contest is open to students of high school, equivalent to classes 11 and 12. The competition closes on 25 April 2010.

Ayn Rand in India initiative is encouraging students from India to participate in this global competition based on Ayn Rand's masterpiece "Atlas Shrugged". For the past many years, the Ayn Rand Institute has been hosting the Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest for 12th standard and college students. This year's competition closes on Sept 17, 2009.
Atlas Shrugged on special display at largest US bookstores

New free-standing floor displays of Ayn Rand’s novel Atlas Shrugged, first published 52 years ago, will be placed in more than 850 bookstores across the United States. According to Dr. Yaron Brook, executive director of the Ayn Rand Institute, “This is the most prominent and widespread display for this novel in all of its publishing history. It is particularly remarkable because it comes more than a half century after its initial publication."
