The Atlas Sunday Philosophy Club (ASPC) presents an afternoon with Ayn Rand. A special screening of the film "We The Living" will be conducted on Sunday, December 18, at the Health Center building, University of Mumbai. The movie is based on Ayn Rand's novel, 'We The Living". The film is in Italian, with English subtitles.

We The Living screened in Delhi

"We The Living", the movie adaptation of Ayn Rand's debut novel was first made in Italy without Ayn Rand's permission,banned and later rediscovered .The screening of the movie was held at NCUI auditorium on August 21, and was attended by 35 fans. It turned out to be a great experience for all the ones who attended it.After the break, there was a live session with Duncan Scott on Skype, who credited the rediscovery to Holzers. Mr. Scott offered the DVD of the film at a specially discounted rate of $25 to the audience in India, writes Vikram Bajaj.

It is very likely that Ayn Rand fans will get to see a movie version of Atlas shrugged, her masterpiece. Several big shots in the movie industry wanted to act and work on the movie. But, the final version put togethor by the inexperienced, might not be up to the standard. However, Ayn Rand followers are devouring anything related to her with a fanatical zeal, writes Shanu A.

Jennifer Burn's biography of Ayn Rand is suppposed to be objective as she has no axe to grind. However, it would be disappointing to those who have thought so. Burns has no personal interest in Ayn Rand's philosophy. Burns is a determinist, doesn't base politics on philosophy and thinks that ideas doesn't matter, writes Robert Mayhew in Capitalism Magazine.
